A Journey to Discover the Works of Others and
Raise Funds for our Next Check Dam

Come with us and discover solutions that work while on an adventure of a lifetime.

India – December 5th – 18th – 2015

This wonderful journey of exploration is ready and waiting for you.   All proceeds from this Journey will help us build a
water harvesting structure (check dam) giving a permanent
water supply and freedom from crippling debt
to over 20 small holding farmers.  We will continue our work in the Vidharba area – and you can help us to do that.

For the full itinerary and schedule click on this link.

We will visit the village of the Waterman of India – Rajendra Singh who won the Stockholm Water Prize 2015  – and the incredible and little known stepwell at Chand Baori built over 1000 years ago.  Moving on we will go to the Barefoot College and meet the grandmothers who are being trained to take solar power back to their villages.

The fort at Chittorgargh site of battles, conflict and love will enchant your eyes and soul and a visit to Piplantri where a modern day knight cares for the girl children of the village by planting gardens for them is high on the list of must do!

As we travel we will keep our footprint as small as possible by committing to accept no plastic bags, using our own reusable water bottles, and reducing our fuel consumption where possible.
We will contribute to the people we meet as we go in whatever way we can.
